Six Markers and seven Places to Rest were installed in 2009 as part of the Kirkland & Ellis Law Firm Corporate Art Collection at the Kirkland & Ellis Law Firm in Chicago. The collection was curated by Linda Warren of Linda Warren Gallery with assistance by Susan Blackman, Art Advisory, Inc.

Sculptures from the Marker series are placed into two groupings of three on the terrace.  The shorter grouping, called Intersections, were created in 2006 and purchased from the artist’s studio.  The taller grouping, located at the far end of the terrace, was commissioned specifically for the space and is titled Prime Elements.
